We announced Microsoft Designer on October 12, 2022, and our team has been using your feedback over the past few months to make improvements to the experience – we launched close to 10 new features and resolved over 100 bugs. Thank you for helping us make Designer better!
With Designer, you can describe the design you want to create and get 1-click design suggestions, powered by the latest advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Try “A social media post about a summer concert series” and see the magic for yourself.
Improvements made to Designer based on your feedback
- Make your designs dance by adding a tinge of motion. Design Ideas helps you integrate new design elements, and shows you variations on the design, including our magic motion templates.
- Resize your design to other social media formats and save a ton of time with the help of AI.
- Looking for a catchy caption or hashtag but short on time? Type in a few ideas and choose a goal (like increasing engagement or driving awareness) to get AI-powered suggestions for the perfect message to pair with your design.
- [Coming Soon] Do more with images by leveraging our AI-powered tools, and remove photo backgrounds, or just specific areas in a few seconds.
Known limitations
- Designer is currently only available in English.
- You need to sign up for and/or sign in with a Microsoft email account (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, and more). Work accounts are not supported currently.
- Designer is currently available through any web browser for your desktop. Designer for iOS and Android is coming soon!
